Temp. Agency Representation Visuals represents creative talent for freelance and direct-hire placement at client firms throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We have been at the forefront of creative recruitment since 1990, but we are always looking for new talent to fill open positions at our client firms.

Here’s what you need to do to be represented by Visuals:

  • Explore our site and see if your skills and experience fit into one of our areas of expertise. We specialize in print, web, presentations, Flash, multimedia, and content. Within each area, we list the titles that we staff most frequently. If your experience fits one of these titles, we’re probably a good agency to represent you.
  • Browse our list of open positions and see if there is one that interests you. If so, apply for that position specifically. If not, then submit your resume for general consideration.
  • Submit your resume and portfolio from our Apply for Work page. If you are a match for an open position, a recruiter will call and review the requirements with you. If we do not have an immediate need for your skill set, we will keep your resume for future opportunities.

In-office Registration If you are contacted by Visuals, you may be asked to come into our office to register, test, and have a face-to-face interview. We will only contact you and invite you to register if we think we can place you. If you are selected to fill a position with one of our clients, we will conduct a criminal background check prior to employment. Some clients also require drug screening and fingerprinting.

Once you have interviewed and tested, we consider you registered with our firm, and we will represent you for all positions for which you are qualified. It is our practice to obtain your permission before submitting your resume to each position.

Representation Agreement Once you agree to be represented and introduced to a client by Visuals, the client is obligated to contract your services through Visuals only, and not independent of Visuals, unless 24 months have elapsed from either the date of the referral or the last day of your assignment with that client. We ask that you also honor this agreement and refrain from working directly with clients that you agreed to be presented to by Visuals, unless 24 months have elapsed, without any opportunities for work, from Visuals, with that client.

We represent artists who want to work in the San Francisco Bay Area, San Jose Silicon Valley, Peninsula, and Oakland East Bay. We have temporary, contract, direct-hire, and freelance jobs. We also cover Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, and Marin counties and the cities of Berkeley, Walnut Creek, Concord, San Ramon, Pleasanton, Hayward, Fremont, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City, Foster City, San Mateo, and San Rafael.
